2026 Street Improvement Project
The City Council has ordered the preparation of a feasibility report for the streets proposed to be improved in 2026. Below is a map showing the streets that will be evaluated for inclusion in the 2026 Street Improvement Project. Streets may be added or removed depending on the available budget.

Friday, August 21: Crews will be around working on installing riser rings on the manholes and turning up gate valve boxes in preparation for final paving.
Phase 2
Monday, August 24: The final layer of asphalt will be laid in the Yosemite area. There will be no on-street parking from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be continued access but expect small delays.
Phase 3 & 4
Tuesday, August 25: The final layer of asphalt will be laid in the Preserve Trail area. There will be no on-street parking from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be continued access but expect small delays.

On Wednesday, August 19, crews will be putting down the final layer of asphalt in the following cul-de-sacs: Colorado Ave, Brunswick Ave, Alabama Ave, Zarthan Ave, 139th Street, and Yosemite Circle. There will be no on-street parking from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be continued access but expect small delays.
Wednesday, August 19, crews will be removing and replacing isolated areas of curb and gutters.
The remaining roads will be completed the first part of next week. Date will be communicated by the end of this week.

Paving will be sometime next week. Date to be determined.
