The City Council has ordered the preparation of a feasibility report for the streets proposed to be improved in 2026. Below is a map showing the streets that will be evaluated for inclusion in the 2026 Street Improvement Project. Streets may be added or removed depending on the available budget.

- Monday & Tuesday, 6/1-6/2 Crews will wrap up the final grading and compaction work. Excavation of the pond will begin Monday and continue throughout the week.
- Wednesday (6/3) Crews will begin laying the first lift of fresh asphalt on the following streets: Colorado Ave, Brunswick Ave, Alabama Ave cul-de-sac, Zarthan Ave, 139th St, Yosemite Circle, and Yosemite Court.
- Thursday, 6/4 Crews will begin laying the first lift of fresh asphalt on the following streets: 140th Street, Alabama Ave, Yosemite Ave and 144th Street.
- Friday, 6/5 Topsoil placement will begin as part of the restoration of the boulevards.

Important Information About Paving Days
Parking Requirements
- No street parking allowed on paving days
- Keep all vehicles in your driveway or park on nearby streets outside the construction zone

Access During Paving
- You'll still be able to get in and out of your driveway throughout the paving process. However, if the paving equipment is working directly in front of your home, you may need to wait 15-30 minutes for the asphalt to cool down before driving over it. Our crew will help coordinate your access and get you in and out as quickly as possible.
- Safety Reminders Please drive carefully through the construction area. You may need to navigate around equipment, and conditions can change throughout the day.
- Construction will be moving to Phase 3 and 4 (Preserve Trail) starting mid-week with curb marking and saw cutting work of curb that will be replaced (weather permitting).
