According to the Minnesota Association of Housing Code Officials, “code enforcement officers can have a major impact on the property values and image of the community. They support and enhance the quality of life while working to keep aging buildings, homes, and properties from becoming eyesores.”
What is the current ordinance regarding trash and recycling containers?
The current code states, "Refuse and/or recyclables containers shall be located as to be out of public view except on collection day. The container may be placed at the front property line for collection but shall not be so placed before 4:00 pm the night before collection and shall be removed by 8:00 pm the day of collection."
