R-3 Zoning, Preliminary Plat, Final Plat, and Site Plan Review
Harbor Suites of Savage Senior Memory Care
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Savage Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing, as provided for in Section 152.028 of the Savage Zoning Code, in the Council Chambers at Savage City Hall, 6000 McColl Drive, Savage, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, on Thursday, February 6, 2024, to receive public comment on the following requests for: (1) a zoning map amendment to zone the property to R-3, High-Density Residential District, (2) Preliminary and Final Plat to plat the property into one lot per Sections 151.07 and 151.08 of the Savage Subdivision Code, and (3) approval for the proposed construction of an 18 unit, 12,823 square foot, one-floor, senior memory care facility building through the Site Plan approval process listed in Section 152.034 of the Savage Zoning Code. The requested actions are to occur on the property located on the northeast corner of County Road 27 and 154th Street for the construction (Parcel ID 269320181).

Project Update & Next Steps:
On 02/06/25 the Planning Commission recommended approving the project with conditions as recommended by city staff. This project will be scheduled for a City Council meeting. The City Council will review and consider the project for final decision to either approve, deny, or table the application requests.
