Updates on this project will be posted here each week. All updates are weather dependent and subject to change.

October 1, 2024

• Striping will take place the afternoon of Tuesday, October 1 on Joppa Avenue and River Bend Parking Lot.

September 15, 2024

• September 16 - 17, Paving wear in Phase I.
• Paving wear on trail and Joppa Avenue will be towards the end of the week, weather dependent.

September 8, 2024

• Restoration taking place all week.

September 1, 2024

• Grading trails & parking lot on Wednesday, September 4.
• Paving trails & parking lot the end of the week.

August 27, 2024

• First lift of asphalt will be placed on Joppa Road Tuesday, August 28.
• Concrete pouring of sidewalk Wednesday, August 29.

August 25, 2024

• Grading of park trails and street.

August 18, 2024

• Installation of concrete curb & gutter, and sidewalks.
• Grading of trails in park.

August 11, 2024

• Milling, Reclaiming & Removals of Joppa Avenue and Park Trails will begin on Monday, August 12.
• During Phase 2, Joppa Avenue will be intermittently closed as needed for construction activities and safety for traffic.

August 6, 2024

• A portion of Joppa Avenue will be closed today and possibly Wednesday, August 7. Traffic will be diverted to Riverbend Place and Kipling Avenue to get through the neighborhood. This area will be closed intermittently during Phase 2 as needed for construction activities and safety for traffic.

August 4, 2024

• Storm Sewer construction on Joppa Avenue.
• Not working Tuesday.
• Watermain valve replacement on Joppa Avenue Thursday, August 8.

July 29, 2024

• Phase II will be starting on Wednesday, July 31 weather permitting.

Week of July 28, 2024

• Phase II will be starting on Monday, July 29 weather permitting.

Week of June 30, 2024

• Phase II has a new start date of July 22 due to weather.
• Early in the week, a temporary, thin layer of asphalt will be applied to the gravel intersections (Riverbend and 144th St).
• Construction completion for the project is now the end of September.

Week of June 23, 2024

• Phase I is now complete. Any issues or concerns, please call Engineering at 952-882-2671.
• Phase II is scheduled to begin July 8, weather permitting.

Week of June 16, 2024

• ***IRRIGATION SYSTEMS*** Please test and verify that your system is working appropriately. Contact Engineering at
  952-882-2671 with any system repairs ASAP if you have not already done so.
• Continued restoration weather permitting.
• If you have not already, please contact Kale about any landscaping that was existing previously before construction and removed or disturbed from construction activities. Kale will let the contractor know (952-292-2221).

Week of June 9, 2024

• ***IRRIGATION SYSTEMS*** Please test and verify that your system is working appropriately. Contact Engineering at
  952-882-2671 with any system repairs ASAP if you have not already done so.
• Insituform will be on-site this week and next to line the storm sewer lines in Phase I on Kipling Ave and Joppa Circle.
• Restoration and sod to be completed and installed disturbed areas of the yards by the end of next week, weather permitting.
• If you have not already, please contact Kale about any landscaping that was existing previously before construction and removed or disturbed from construction activities. Kale will let the contractor know.
