The city is proposing amendments for Big Sky Estates 3rd and 4th Addition generally located north of County Road 44 and west of County Road 27. No land or development changes are being made to these properties, and no action is required by the property owners. This change is simply to correct the 2040 Comprehensive Plan map and text consistent with how the land was developed. A total of 22.51 acres is included in the proposed amendment, changing the designation from Medium Density Residential (7-12 units per acre) to Low Density Residential (2-6 units per acre).

10/08/26 Planning Commission: A public hearing is tentatively scheduled for review and consideration for the proposed amendments.
10/19/26 City Council: The proposed amendments are tentatively scheduled for City Council's consideration.
Pending Final Approvals: Final approvals are subject to the Metropolitan Council's review and consideration.
