154th Street & Hampshire Avenue Pedestrian Crossing

An enhanced pedestrian crossing is being constructed at the intersection of Hampshire Avenue and 154^th Street to provide safer mobility and access across 154^th Street. The improvements will provide pedestrian crossing upgrades that will include pedestrian ramps, installation of push button Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), pavement restoration, and pavement markings. The project was awarded to McNamara Contracting, Inc. March 17, 2025. Construction has begun with an anticipated completion date of August 29, 2025.
